Although I came out as Bisexual 3 months into covid, I also identify as Pansexual and use them interchangeably. Even though I came out to my girlfriend, Shirquita. We started what we call a wait “until February list” and my parents and her mom are on that list. Because even though life after college is interesting. Even though I’m not in college, I was romantically involved with an identical twin and a mirror twin with bipolar disorder and even though there’s a 3 year age gap, one of my goals that Quinn will help me with next year is next year we’ll start serving Avatar the Last Air Bender Meals at Bellevue Clubhouse! Even though my brother and I don’t get along, my mom had to apologize for having me take him, although I forgive her, my mom and I have stubborn streaks but since my parents need to be involved and standup comedy helped me overcome social anxiety! Now I got to Israel twice in my life. Is Super Sentai the same thing as Power Rangers?
Super Sentai began in Japan on April 5, 1975! Power Rangers used stock footage and began in the 1990s! Now here’s the thing about being Jewish, we have things like Bar/Bat/They Mitzvahs! My best friend died before I turned 21 and his name was Fuzzy! Fuzzy might have died during college but he was a Pomeranian Chihuahua mix. 6 months later, Quinn saw the picture of my pen pal.
Anime is something I still hold onto from Elementary school. Although I live independently, Nelson’s family has a history of Antisemitism and we swam 72 laps together! That’s how we became brothers!
Now I’m not the most religious Jewish person out there but longevity and height run in my family. Although it’s common knowledge that I have Autism and Eyesight trouble, I choose to not smoke. Smoking lead to early childhood Asthma that disappeared during puberty!
The Harassment from College!
Now even though I graduated college in 2014, I didn’t like who was in charge of the associate’s! Although in high school I was popular and had a B grade point average, I was a jokester because my comedy career took off at the age of 16! My younger brother is put on a silver platter by our mom!
The chaperones in during my birthright tour told me that everyone has survived something. Now my friend Nelson admires my knowledge of pop culture and we agreed no political discussions!
2016 and 2017
Now look everyone has a 2016 story but I swam 72 laps when Nelson was in state and even though he’s not in state, he’s the only one who gave a rats ass when we loss someone to suicide!
The Day Batman died!
A Cantor is someone who will lead the Jewish hymns during important holidays. Now I was bullied at my synagogue’s summer camp but my parents are in their getting up their stages! There are few people in pop culture I grieve when they die, If I could revive Kevin for 24 hours, I’d give him a hug and even though I’m a batman fan, I know that no one more than anyone misses his him more than his husband!
Now I’m very tall so you could spot me in a crowd and my cousin is 6′ 5″. Although he’s the tallest of my second cousins, I only have one younger brother and it really makes me angry how even though I hear a lot of things like, “Sam he can’t be that bad.” He’s in his 30s but he treats me like I belong in diapers!
Now after I swam 72 laps, I knew I wanted to get married. Nelson would be my best man. I would share my brotherhood story from an openly gay Rabbi from Minnesota. Although I had no attraction to him as a same sex attraction, what made me decide to be my best man is the way that he laughs!

Now I’ve been out about being bi 3 months into the pandemic! I didn’t do it for the attention. Although I told my family, I didn’t get the reaction I wanted but my dad faced homophobia from one of my mom’s closest friends at the time!

I’m still in touch with someone who’s known me since 8th grade (she/her) here are a few of my favorite things from 2003 besides the friendship and her birthday parties!
Finding Nemo is the first Pixar movie to feature a character with a disability. Nemo’s right fin is smaller than his left one! Marlin clearly has Anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Although this is a movie, The Animation still holds up!
Now the only hobby that I still hold onto is my 4th grade figurine collection. Since this is Quinn’s introductory blog to me, we agreed to start in the Earth Kingdom for the recipes. I hope they enjoy this read!

The first time I heard this was in 2021! What most people don’t know about Thanksgiving is the president who started it!
Now I love to cook and I know two people who were born on Lincoln’s birthday! Now my greatest creation as a chef is Black Friday Mexican food. If it isn’t thanksgiving use ground turkey, pepper garlic powder or crushed garlic and season it in a skillet to make tacos! Combine it with Almonds and Cranberries and add some orange juice. If you’re going to make Enchiladas, spread mole sauce and sprinkle shredded cheese. I like it spicy! If you’re going to make taco salad, add the normal taco salad fixings. For Burritos, Normally it takes 300 degrees for 20 minutes!
Why is it called Black Friday Mexican Food?
Now my grandfather on my mom’s side had 5 sisters. the closest thing I had to grandfathers were my Spanish Teacher who died during the early days of Covid. My mom’s dad died in December 1975. The other closest thing I had to a grandfather was Mr. Miyagi of the Karate Kid movies played by Pat Morita

Now I took Martial Arts in High School. One thing I point out to people is if it weren’t for movie magic, Daniel would be dead or have a brain injury. Now Ralph Macchio is in his 60s. My brother Jay and I call him things like “the toddler man” and here’s a fun fact about me is that my dad grew up 20 minutes away from him.
Now one of my best friends who’s also on the Autism Spectrum, I have known since May 2012 and that’s Nelson Amador Jr.
Now my first college buddy was Katie, a woman who has a post traumatic brain injury. Her accident left her with a speech impediment and she doesn’t remember seeing my action figure collection. Nelson’s lust for life and the way he laughs are the reason I made the pact of no matter what happens, the other person is the other’s best man!
Nelson had to move to Texas back in April and even though I saw him once after the pandemic we would text along. Although he’s Hispanic, he has a Jewish spirit! Although his parents made it clear they don’t like me, it’s THEIR loss!

Nelson is well aware of a suicide that happened in 2016 and when we went to my Uncle’s House we also went to Archie McPhee, (A local joke shop) and he became family! Even though we watched The Karate Kid trilogy and had liver and onions and Fish and Chips respectively and his favorite show we watched together was Avatar the Last Air Bender! You can’t control who your family members are but I’m thankful for all the texts I’ve received due to his move!
